Our Story
OAK Apparel + Home is the inevitable creation of Kelly Nelson and Nicolle Mailal. Two cousins that grew up more like sisters in the eclectic city of Miami.

Their love for fashion and design began at a young age, growing with the years. "It has always been a form of self expression," says Kelly, who specializes in curating the home decor and lifestyle accessories for OAK. Both girls have a drive and love for style so it was only natural that their passions would eventually collide for the greater good.

"Our apparel is distinctive and edgy. It's for the modern woman/girl that embraces her unique aesthetic with timeless elegance," says Nicolle, who since the age of 15 has been working in the fashion industry and is now spearheading all the buying of apparel for OAK. Her taste and vision for trends has led her to pursue her dream of opening her own shopping experience in the heart of Coral Gables.

"This has been a long time coming, but I couldn't be more excited or proud of what Nicolle and I have put together. Every inch of our store has been carefully thought out and its apparent in each piece of clothing and home accessory," says Kelly, who to many is known for her effortless ability to make any house a home with cool and casual accents interlaced with unique elements.

A powerhouse duo to say the least, OAK Apparel + Home is nothing more than a cultivation of creativity and passion. It's a form of self expression for two young women that have long been sharing their eye for style with loved ones and now dare to share their talents with the world.
