Taking pizza to the next level, Pizza Rock was born from the creative minds of three best friends: George Karpaty, Tony Gemignani, and Trevor Hewitt. Combining George and Trevor’s nightlife expertise (Ruby Skye, San Francisco) with Tony’s pizza making expertise (13-time World Pizza Champion, Tony’s Pizza Napoletana, San Francisco), Pizza Rock is pizza artisan meets nightlife energy. This is not your traditional pizzeria.
The restaurant offers a variety of Italian and American pizza styles including Neapolitan, Classic Italian, Classic American, Sicilian, Roman, and Gluten Free. Come try Gemignani’s award-winning pizza the Cal Italian (Asiago, Mozzarella, imported Gorgonzola, sweet fig preserve, Prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano-Reggiano and balsamic reduction), which won the Gold Medal in Food Network Pizza Champions Challenge.
Additionally, we offer a selection of pastas, calzones, Stromboli, antipasti and salads, all with a focus on authentic Italian ingredients and organically-grown produce. Pizza Rock’s full bar focuses on hand-crafted artisan cocktails, an extensive draft menu with 40 rotating tap handles and a collection of wines with a focus on California and Italy.
While Pizza Rock is a restaurant first and foremost, it’s about more than just food; it is a destination location where guests come to unwind, have something to eat, drink, and also sit back and enjoy the scene around them. There is an electric energy inside the space, including a tremendous sound system. Guests are encouraged to come for the food and stay for the fun!
