Acquired in 2006, CEO Mohamad Fakih purchased a nearly bankrupt single restaurant called Paramount Fine Foods. With a vision to create the number one Middle Eastern halal restaurant chain in Canada, he applied his savvy business experiences. Retaining the original set up staff and rebranding the image, he paid off the restaurants' outstanding debts and built great relationships with existing suppliers. Working tirelessly to revamp the Middle Eastern restaurant industry image, Mohamad Fakih has grown Paramount Fine Foods to six corporate restaurants, three franchised locations and plenty more on theirway. With international expansion plans well on their way, the Paramount Group also has a vertically integrated award-winning Paramount Butcher Shop, a mobile food truck, and a new fast serve concept called Fresh East.
