Hickory Roots BBQ formally Ranch Hand BBQ is a great family owned and operated Terrell restaurant. Over the last 30 years, the family has been perfecting their recipes and adjusting their menu to suit the tastes of the customers, and to make sure that locals from around Terrell and beyond come back again and again. The BBQ restaurant is a unique attraction, not just for the quality of the food and friendly family service atmosphere - but because they do so much more. They are a great source for a company or family event where catering is the best fit, and as of July 2015, the restaurant is back under ownership of Eddie Deen, the BBQ expert in East Texas. Deen is joined by his son, Brent, and sister, Susie. They serve the very best brisket and ribs, but like to spice things up periodically with their lunch specials including a variety of Mexican inspired dishes to keep things interesting. Come in anytime and you will find warmth on and off the plate, as the Deen Family is always happy to serve its customers and the community with a smile.
